Aversion®
Aversion
is an approved denaturant & bittering agent for SDA 1 & SDA
40B alcohols. Aversion is added to many toxic products to prevent
accidental ingestion.
The
bitter taste created by adding only a few parts per million causes
an immediate aversive reaction from both humans &
animals that discourages ingestion of harmful products.
Aversion is available in both
Pharmaceutical USP24-NF 19 or sommercial grades and in convenient
formats including dry crystalline form, hydro soluble bags &
custom liquid solutions.
Aversion provides manufacturers of consumer goods with a cost
effective solution for reduction of property damage and maintenance
costs while assisting with regulatory compliance and risk management
issues.
Some uses of Aversion are denaturant for alcohols, cosmetic, soap
& detergent products, denaturants for alcohols & toiletries,
automotive antifreeze and windshield washer fluids and in testing of
respiratory apparatus.
